Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	...but wasn't Goku just regarded as Satan's pupil? Haven't watched GT in a while but I'm pretty sure they still left it that Satan was the hero, what with him winning tournaments against Good Buu in his old age. Naruto not only played a huge part in saving the world he united it and basically stopped all war(besides people from the freaking moon) as ridiculous as that is. I wouldn't say he's superior to Luffy though...well, I mean he is but Luffy's story probably ain't even half done yet. So far he's freed prisoners, slaves, hostages, people who had their god damn shadows stolen, basically ended racial hate between fishmen and humans, saved s*** loads of children, a whole country or two and I forget the rest. Not to mention he has the most beautiful woman in their world falling at his feet I can't think who else there could be though watched too many anime to remember, most of the time the good guys are just unsung heroes.

Darn you Goku...there are guys saving dozens of islands & crying their hearts out to "change people" into the good-side, actions that laughs at the face of subtlety & nuances...And there you are...staying in a fuc***** Mountain Paouzu And STILL registering unrivalled feats with more than just "explotions", "physical strength" & "durability" Hats off...

Because GT is so good I've watched it 90 million times Still pretty confident Goku's not acknowledged as the saviour of the world or the universe, nobody knows who the f* Goku Jr. is why wasn't everyone like OH MY GOD GOKU'S GRANDSON. Are you forgetting they had to get Mr. Satan to tell everyone the Earth was going to explode because nobody would believe Goku and co.? As well as convincing them to give their energy to Goku because nobody would listen to them in Z either. Nobody believes their saviour, sure. Makes a lotta sense.

Nothin Favourite Manga Nothin	GT, Akira Toriyama's most maligned anime doesnt hold a candle to the length, fan-service & "Nakama" cliche galore as the anime with 2,5674 episodes of "savior moments" steve. DragonBall's got this tendency of not "over-glorifying" thingz. Videl despite carrying the image as Mr.Satans daughter both in her school or Tenkaichi Budoukai, she still isnt an iconic or world famous figure. Krillin & Yamcha were both shocked upon knowing Videl's background. Regular humans.. Talk abt a guy living his life in Mt. Paouzu... Nobody went OH F* PAN IS MR. SATAN'S G.DAUGHTER either. Heck, the reason why Goku & co even asked Mr.Satans help was due to him bein a larger than life figure in DragonWorld. If The Rock says Singapore is abt to get hit by tsunami in 25 hours & its best to get out there, as his fan & follower, ita only natural for me to not giving a f* abt others, but to get out of Singapore. Now what if Bill Gates says? I dont give a f*** of what he says, despite knowing his status & contribution to software system, I still wouldnt give a damn to what he says. You see. Difference between acceptance & truth Both guys can say Earth's gonna blowup. But Earthlings are obviously gonna believe to what Mr.Satan says as he's already got the "connection" deep in their hearts. Not sure if ur even kiddin. Guys living for the past 500 years like Master Roshi.gets unnoticed. You expect Earthlings to remember a guy that died sacrificing himself 7 years ago, gets pass for 1 day & subsequently ressurected to defeat magical demon (all within 2 days). As I said, the mindset of humans have generally accepted.Mr.Satan as their savior. That being said, there were people from the Northen Village (Snow's homeland) & Upa's clan giving their energy to Goku. Besides, Goku himself isnt the kind of Guy trying hard to be the "Face" or "represrntative", considering how laid-back he is. Even with guys all-over the Universe (para-para bros, believers of lood, citizens of Planet Immega etc) acknowledged Goku's help & contributed their genki during Goku's fight with Omega, the dude still doesnt give jack abt his Family & wanders off with Shenron like nothing happened...

Goku is only viewed as a saviour to a select group of people nobody else knows of the great things he done therefore he's not a saviour figure. He is the saviour of the universe but nobody knows that. Just because you don't like Naruto or One Piece doesn't mean you can disregard all the things the characters do in it...

He's definitely not a savior figure even though he should/would've been had they known what he'd done. I guess Gohan would be a better choice since they actually did see him save the world during the Cell Saga.
